Corralling the Tools of the Trade

I saw a great idea from an article in April's issue of Martha Stewart Living magazine today.

It was a fun way to organize your tool drawer.  They printed out life-sized silhouettes of different tools and used the cut outs as paper drawer liners.  Because the cut outs are life-sized, it's a great way to visually organize your tools and see what will really fit in your space without overcrowding.

This is a simple project that even the kids could help with.  Plus, you (and the kids who can't read yet, but want to help) can quickly see where the item's home is and if it's there or not.
It could even make a great Father's Day or birthday gift for a deserving man in your life.
Or, make it super cutesie for the Super Tool Girl you know!

You could go wild and conquer a complete large tool chest, but I recommend to start small.  Try one shelf  or kitchen tool drawer at a time to see if it really works for you and your family.
Then, if it works let me know how you're Getting it All Together.
